Light harvesting polymer

We developed novel polychromophore light harvesting polymers, resulting in efficient light collection and energy transport.  We designed and synthesized  novel conjugated poly(fluorene) and non-conjugated polystyrene polymers with the pedant polypyridine Ru(II) complexes, resulting in efficient light collection and energy transport for the application in solar energy conversion.
